Sand Blast Cleaning of a Pedestrian Bridge for the Metal Industry
Although many pedestrian bridges are not subject to the same stress loads as their cousins that carry motorized vehicles, their structural components often consist of the same materials, and must be able to hold up to damp and wet environments. So when corrosion became a problem on this park pedestrian bridge, the park administrators contacted us at Master Powder Coating to remedy the situation with our blasting services. We proceeded to sand blast the 45′ long X 6′ wide bridges with high-quality, eco-friendly blast media. We sandblasted the pedestrian bridges to SSPC-SP-10 near white finish and visually inspected them to confirm removal of all corrosion and other contaminants. We accomplished this project in four to five days to customer specifications.
